A Guide To The Sexual Health Anonymous Distribution Effort (SHADE)

We at ESVOC want all of our followers to have access to safe, free, and effective sexual healthcare products, without the stigma and shame attached to purchasing them in person. This is why we have chosen to direct our funds towards providing our followers with products like condoms, pregnancy tests, and menstrual care products. We want the process to be as seamless as possible for those of you interested, so please make sure to read through this guide for important information!

How to request a package:

To submit a request, visit our anonymous chat box which can also be found in our Instagram bio under “Anonymous Messaging System”. From there, you will be brought to our anonymous chat box, brought by Incogneato. When you write a submission, your information will be completely anonymous. We can respond to your request and figure out any remaining details after your original submission. (remember to allow us to respond otherwise we won't be able to send you a message back).

What to include in your submission:

• Which item(s) you would like, including number

  • We are open to any request, and will do our best to provide; do not hesitate to ask for any item, even if you are unsure!

  • Please do not feel the need to justify certain requests for certain products, or shy away from asking questions. We are here to give you the products you need- no shame, no questions asked.

• How & when you would like us to deliver your products

  • Delivery options will be highlighted below

• Any specific request

  • Such as inconspicuous packaging, et cetera

Types of Products:

For our SHADE service, we hope to be able to provide for a multitude of different needs, from small to large. If you are in need of anything that you think ESVOC could provide, please just ask us! We are here to help.

If you request a smaller donation, including (but not limited to) products such as...

• Condoms

• Menstrual care products

• Pregnancy tests

• UTI testers

• Lube

• Sanitary/Hygiene Products

we will be able to donate these products with complete anonymity, through a variety of delivery methods.

If you have a more substantial, exclusively monetary request, such as...

• Help paying for long term Birth Control, like an IUD

• Access to abortion services

we request that your basic information is shared to at least one group member, to be confident that our money is truly going to someone who will use it for the intended purpose. With a submission that requires more funding, we would also make sure that the person in need has looked through all other possible routes of funding, such as Planned Parenthood and their healthcare provider. This is because we are publicly funded, and want to make sure that our service can be used for as many people as possible.

Delivery Options:

We recognize that people may require that their products be received in a certain way. We are actively working to expand how we can deliver our products, so please be on the lookout for any additions to the delivery options!

Item Drop-Off

With our drop off service, you can request an item at a certain place, within a window of time. We expect that for many, a donation being left at their home would be sufficient, but if it is necessary to drop off the item at a different location to be picked up, that can be easily arranged. Please specify exactly where the items should be delivered to (such as mailbox versus front door). Just make sure to put the location in your request, and one of our group members will deliver as soon as possible.

In-Person Exchange

If you would rather have a member of ESVOC hand deliver your items to you, this can also be arranged. Make sure to be exact in your request, and be open to multiple times, as we cannot ensure availability to bring your package at any given time. Again, please make sure to include all necessary details in your request!

Packaging

We are happy to include the option of inconspicuous packaging in your order if requested. A simple cardboard box, or another form of basic packaging can easily be supplied if necessary.

Donation 

SHADE, and ESVOC as a whole, runs off of public donation, so if you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated. We have donation outlets at GoFundMe, Venmo, Paypal, and through cash.
